Rugby isnt just about whoes the fastest you know its a thinkings man game

  2. kingswoodknight7878 Says:

gotta respect both football and rugby… rugby players would be some of the best fullbacks ever… if rugby was played with pads people would die because these guys already dont care about hurting themselves… football is more of a strategic sport. special teams is the closest thing to rugby football has to offer.

  3. TheRugbyman88 Says:

    loved that kick

  4. gifigliug Says:

Says the child who can barely spell… you sound like a fucking stereotypical redneck!

  5. gifigliug Says:

You dont have a clue do you?

have you ever played american football?

Didnt think so, the pads reduce injury but the impact still continues. And have you SEEN some of the players? Theyr easily stronger than most rugby players. Not only that but the tactics and brain that goes into the playmaking and execution is ridiculous! and i say this mainly as a rugby player, so there you go.

  6. TheRuffle Says:

    cool ^^

  7. hellojacobhitch4545 Says:

the hand off on the third try was genius

  8. oozay1 Says:

yeah i play rugby i like all the twists and tactics you use. liek the fact that you can only pass backwards adds more chalange and all that.

  9. shanedaniels2 Says:

its hard at first but one day it just makes sence abnd youll love it forever

  10. Pboccuti Says:

I am a Yank that plays Rugby. The thing is that we dont start playing until high school/college. It is too late, you guys see it from the time you can open your eyes. American Football is for muscle heads and fat boys.

  11. cnrkennedy Says:

WTF!!!! kept showin same team. sum tries not bad but mix it up a bit

  12. ultracombatspeed Says:

Sweet highlights, but why that song?

  13. K3rorokun Says:

its weird, I’ve never played anything heavier than tennis, but I’d rather play Rugby over American Football any day

  14. POWERKRUSH Says:

i agree. americans are not capable of comprehending rugby, it is just too comlicated for them. american football is really repetative. infact, so is most american sport. (baseball, drag racing, nascar, indycar, basketball)= boring.

  15. bebodando Says:

Rugby is for more brain challenging
    (for Americans anyway), As
american football is a load of
    pussys afraid to get hurt
(dats why dey wear their armour stuff)
In rugby you are nutin near a pussy

  16. MrMusclekid88 Says:

    those tries are beutiful!!!!

  17. sniperdude52357 Says:

thats coz americans stupid and cant think for themselfs.

  18. BroomeBlocker3 Says:

The carefully derived thinking is done by the coach and possibly the captain of the team. Who probably sit there and watch video’s of opposing teams games for hours to know what best to do against them. Whereas the impulsive thinking is done in real time to what happens on the field by every member on the team. The coach does a lot more of the thinking for American football than in rugby

  19. blacklite911 Says:

Its more than that because, in planning the football game, you gotta take into account of individual skills as well, for example you gotta double cover a guy like randy moss at all time. Or you gotta go shotgun a lot because a team is good at good at rushing the QB.
But also there’s the question of which takes more intellegence, impulsive thinking and carefully derived thinking, i don’t know that answer. I say american, you say rugby. I think both are cool

  20. BroomeBlocker3 Says:

I would say it’s smarter, you could put a team of people who have never played American Football before with an excellent coach and they could play well, ie, your this x, you stop that o, your this x, throw to this x…. They don’t really need to think that much, maybe 1-2 playmakers to change the play on the fly if it isn’t going to work, everyone else just has to follow orders. In rugby, anything can happen and play doesn’t stop, you always gotta be thinking

  21. blacklite911 Says:

Nah, I’m speaking about in the professional level comparing professional rugby and professional football is fair right. Like in the NFL just because you got the best tailback or whatever doesn’t mean you’re gonna win. NFL is more about overall team structure and making the right decisions at the right time and way more mental than any other level because both sides have to be able to read each other.

  22. BrickFight Says:

The pass from 12 to 13 at 2:13 looks pretty suspiciously forward.

  23. cole1991 Says:

you obviously dont play football. rugby takes alot more thinking on the fly, tons of communication, and above all else, good team work. football depends on all star tail backs and middle LB’s and FS’s who’s skills are fuck8ing amazing.

they are 2 completely different sports

  24. blacklite911 Says:

Yeah I can def see the fun in rugby for sure. But it’s definitly more impulsive than American Football where everything is pretty much planned out beforehand. Rugby I can see that skills play a larger part, kinda like basketball uses skills more as well.

  25. keroberus2 Says:

Well, American football isn’t really smart per se for the WHOLE team, as you’re just doing routine. You’ve been told to go back into zone coverage, covering one guy, so you do. If the intended pass doesn’t happen, and it’s a tackle, you’ve just wasted your time.

In Rugby, you’ll have a line of about 5-6 backs running, and you’ll have to pick who to pass to precisely, as if you pass to a marked person, dumdumdum.

You sometimes see 3-4 passes in like one second. P : SKills.

    Both Sports are fun
